Kickstarter launches for WMG’s Holiday Spectacular 2019
When I first heard about an advent calendar full of fiction instead of chocolate, I thought it was SUCH a COOL idea … … that was, of course, after I had my moment of total freak-out with the daunting prospect of writing 3 short stories in one week. I didn’t manage to write three, but I did manage two stories that I’m incredibly proud of because both hit close to home for me, for vastly different reasons. They were selected to appear in WMG Publishing’s winter anthologies featuring Christmas and holiday stories from a wide of gamut of genres and backgrounds, all edited by award-winning author and editor Kristine Kathryn Rusch.

WINGS OF CHANGE dragon anthology takes flight
WINGS OF CHANGE released last week in the midst of an incredibly busy week for me — 9 days on the road visiting family and attending a workshop. Now that I’m home and able to take a breath, I’m so pleased to share that this collection of dragon-themed tales includes one of my stories! A Chinese zodiac-inspired tale, THE SOUL BY WHICH WE MEASURE OURS embellishes on why Dragon didn’t win the zodiac race. A small launch, but a launch nevertheless
This past week has been so crazy busy that I almost forgot to mention one small but significant launch of my own — I’m officially published! Huzzah! This week, the Undercurrents anthology launched on all bookselling platforms. Inside are 23 terrific short stories from authors ranging from New York Times bestselling authors Kevin J. Anderson, Rebecca Moesta, and Jody Lynn Nye to first-time authors — including a story of my own, one I didn’t even expect to write.
